How long does it take to paint kitchen cabinets?
Most cabinet painting projects take 4–5 working days, depending on size and condition. Prep is the biggest factor—cleaning, sanding, priming, and proper curing. We remove all of your doors and drawers, finish them in our professional finishing facility and bring them back to your home fully finished. We spend about 80% of the time on a kitchen cabinet project on prep. Its the key to the best finishes.
What does it cost to repaint cabinets?
An average sized kitchen costs $4500-$6500 for professionally sprayed cabinets using our 47 step Standard Operating Procedure – a process we’ve perfected over the last +20 years. This would include all material and labor and would also include painting the walls in the average sized kitchens as well.
Walls
What kind of paint is best for interior walls?
As professionals, we only use the highest quality acrylic paint for your walls – Sherwin Williams Emerald. The highest end Matte finish paints will cover better, look amazing and will resist damage so much better than average water based wall paint. We always apply 2 coats, and will do 3 coats if there is a drastic color change.
How much does it cost to paint a room?
An average sized bedroom will cost $450-$650 and would include all materials and labor. We follow a 22 step Standard Operating Procedure to give you the finest finish in the least amount of time – giving you your room back in 1 day! We also move furniture and clean up after ourselves – no additional cost for this.
Ceilings
Should ceilings be painted flat or satin?
Almost all ceilings should be painted flat. Flat paint hides drywall seams, patches, and shadows better than any other finish. The only common exception is bathrooms, where some clients opt to have a paint with more sheen to resist moisture.
How much does it cost to paint a ceiling?
The average bedroom ceiling cost $150-$250 to repaint flat white, and would include all materials and labor. We take great pride in the prep work for ceiling projects – we protect all of your trim, doors, windows and furniture during the process.
Trim
What’s the best paint and finish for trim and doors?
We select only the finest professional enamel for your trim projects and use a stain level of sheen. This is not house paint. Its purpose-made enamel – a very hard, very durable finish that will last for years. We follow a 30 step Standard Operating Procedure and use professional spray equipment to give you the most durable, most beautiful finishes – while you live in your home!
How much does it cost to paint the trim in a home?
The trim in an average sized bedroom (doors, windows, baseboard, casing) costs between $975-$1450 depending on how many and what types of doors and windows you have. A complete floor of a home with multiple rooms of trim can cost $5500-$8000. This price would include all materials and labor and using our professionally sprayed enamels.
Exterior
How long does an exterior house paint job last?
A professionally painted exterior typically lasts 7–10 years, depending on sun and water exposure, siding type, and previous coatings. Typically, houses don’t show wear evenly. The south side may require maintenance painting in 1-4 years. The north side (less sun) may only need maintenance painting every 5-15 years.
What does it cost to get the outside of my house painted? What about historic homes?
We typically paint 4 sizes of homes. Smaller homes (~2000sqft) can cost as little as $3985 to have professional painted. Very large homes (~4500sqft) with high peaks and difficult landscaping can cost $6575-$12,225. Full restorations of historic homes start at about $15,000 and can be as high as $75,000 depending on prep, restoration carpentry and repairs.
Decks
How often should a deck be stained?
We’ve developed a super simple restoration process (our 17 step Standard Operating Procedure) to bring your deck back to bright wood using a safe solution that does not harm plants or pets. Once the wood is cleaned, washed and brightened we sand if needed, then apply only the finest, longest lasting stains.
What does it cost to stain a deck?
Small decks with minimal prep can cost ~$1750. Much larger, more expansive decks with major prep requirements can cost ~$2750 or more. Multiple colors, finishes would add to this cost. This would include all materials and labor.
